Old Orchard Country Club Wedding in Mount Prospect, Illinois

“The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just ot love and be loved in return.” — Moulin Rouge

I don’t get up to Chicago very often but every time I do my husband and I stay in Arlington and take the subway into the city because we are small town Indiana folks who are easily entertained by technology that has not yet made it down to the corn fields. :P

This trip was no different. I had a great time getting to spend the day with two people so in love. And their family and friends surrounded them with so many smiles and laughs that I may have delivered twice as many photos as I usually do. In fact, this wedding was the record setter for 2018!

A Summer Wedding in Peoria, Illinois

“if the whole world was watching, I’d still dance with you. Drive highways and byways to be with you.” — Niall Horan

They came all the way back to Peoria from out west to get married and I am so glad that they reached out to me to photograph their wedding. I had so much fun with these guys and their whole group of friends instantly made me feel like I was just a long lost friend.

Skyline Club Wedding in Indianapolis, Indiana

“You are my dearest friend, my deepest love. You are the best of me.” — The Best of Me

I’ve been photographing weddings in and around the Indianapolis area for a long time now and finally got to shoot a wedding at the Skyline Club! Those views and the light! Oh, the light! haha. Man, do I love a wedding venue with good natural light. It makes my job so much easier :D

It also helps when you get to spend the day with awesome people! Watching these two lean on each other and work together to pull off an awesome wedding was an inspiring sight to see. Every couple should have the kind of partner that is always there to help and encourage and laugh with you throughout the whole night.

Columbus, OH Wedding at Strongwater Food and Spirits

“I would rather spend one lifetime with you, than face all of the ages of the world alone.” — The Lord of the Rings

Marriage is all about weathering the trails of life with your best friend so it made perfect sense for Kelsey and Jill to have someone accidentally run into their car on their wedding day. But as I always say, as long as you and your spouse are married at the end of the day, then everything else is just a story to tell.

Kelsey and Jill were no different. After filling out the paperwork, they finished getting ready took some photos and said “I do” knowing that nothing was going to stop them from having a good time!
